Office Manager / Personal Lines

Patricia David

Patricia joined Rockland in 2008 as the company’s fourth employee. Her first role at the company was as a processor, assisting with quotes. She quickly moved into a more client-centered position, where she interacts directly with customers and carries out the quote process herself.

Fast forward a few years and hundreds of quotes later, she is now our Personal Lines Manager. Her primary role at Rockland is to quote home and auto insurance policies.

On any given day you will find Patricia at her desk, fingers flying across her keyboard, as she reviews her two computer monitors; on one, she’s closely watching emails and responding to homebuyers, loan officers, realtors and whoever else needs her that day. The other screen is ever-changing as she searches for the best insurance rate for each client with whom she interacts.

When asked about her job, she said, “To me, it’s more than just a job. I put my heart into every day, every policy… it’s amazing what stories you hear from our insureds and what they’ve been through. I love making their day- who knew lowering insurance premiums for someone could make such a difference in their life?”

Respected by her colleagues and supervisors alike, she is seen as a mentor and leader in the organization, and given her longevity with the company, is often referred to as Mama Par. Rockland CEO, Joel Pond, says that, “Patricia is an integral part of our team. She’s the glue that binds us all together. Her experience and dedication to the company are unparalleled.”
